Kewanee High School Technologies Services

What do we do?

The Kewanee IT Department serves not only the Kewanee high School and their over 200 computers, but 5 other K-12 buildings within the district. The district’s computer inventory is well over 700 computers, as well as many servers, routers and other networking equipment.

The IT Department also handles Audio-Visual Equipment needs for the School District. An extensive On-Line booking system is in place to handle all requests for media rentals.

The IT department is responsible for software as well as hardware purchases.

Kewanee Schools uses Skyward and its web-based programs Educator Access Plus and Family Access to help bring parents up to date in real time with their students and their academic progress in school. The IT Department is responsible for the maintance of this product.
