Anatomy & Physiology: Human Anatomy and Physiology is an elective course that will be taken by Juniors and Seniors wishing to take more than the two years of science required for graduation. This course is designed to give college bound students a feel for the study content covered in the medical programs. The course relies on note taking, discussion, and dissections. Students will encounter terminology used in the medical field as well as occupational opportunities within medicine.

Students can expect to learn in areas of cytology, biochemistry, nutrition, and histology. They will also explore areas of the body such as the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems. The course requires writing assignments, lab work, and valuable dissections.
