In Mr. Allen's Industrial Education, you can learn how to cut, form and weld metal, work with wood, wire a house, and gain other hands-on skills.
Students tend to have a lot of fun learning how to operate the equipment in the wood lab and metal lab.
Work may include building many props for the plays and the musicals--stages, support pieces, etc. Students also create and build things for the school foundation auctions, thus earning money for the school.
Mr. Allen's class provides much needed discipline for students and helps them to apply their new skills in real life. These skills could be a background for students who want to pursue a career in building trades or simply help around the house and with vehicles.
